About Yvonne
Yvonne Gonzalez Toureilles graduated as Class Salutatorian at age 17 from High School. She then graduated with a bachelor’s degree with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992. Yvonne was a Normandy Scholar at UT Austin and did a study abroad program in Normandy, France. She then graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1996 from the University of Texas School of Law.

Yvonne has been a small business owner since 2008 when she first opened her law office in 2008 in Alice, Texas. Yvonne’s areas of practice include family law, attorney general cases, CPS cases, personal injury, juvenile, real estate, general civil litigation, small claims, debt collection, juvenile, probate, heirships, estate planning, guardianships, Texas Driver’s License suspension hearings and occupational driver’s license hearings. Yvonne is also a trained civil and family law mediator who has successfully mediated civil and family law cases.

Some of Yvonne’s Awards include the Freshman of the Year Award from the House Democratic Campaign Committee, Legislator of the Year Award from the Justice of Peace & Constable Association, Joe Hanna Outstanding Legislator Award for her work for the Oil and Gas Industry in Texas, Legislator of the Year Award from the County Judge’s and Commissioners’ Association for her outstanding work in the Texas House of Representatives.
Yvonne lives in Alice, Texas with her family. Yvonne is fluent in Spanish and French. She married her high school sweetheart Marc, and they have two children. Her daughter Genevieve is currently in graduate school and her son Christopher is attending college. Despite all her success, awards, and accolades- Yvonne considers her biggest achievement is maintaining a happy, successful marriage, and raising two accomplished, responsible, and kind children.
